Students in Grades 1-5 had the opportunity to work collaboratively and solve challenges this week. The breakout is much like an escape room where you solve puzzles to unlock doors in a given amount of time. Students had to find out which reindeer was missing by solving riddles and unlocking 5 locks.

First graders at Jefferson wrote what they were thankful for and then verbally proceeded to tell everyone in their classes what they were thankful for. Mrs. Hein and Mrs. Hall shared these videos on SeeSaw. Second graders in Mrs. Carlson's and Mrs. Golisch's classes at Jefferson, traveled back in time to learn about the Pilgrims. Some even dressed the part are we recorded their message in front of a green screen. Watch the videos below to learn all about the pilgrims. Students in Mrs. Eggersgleuss's and Miss Herbison's classes selected a book and then wrote some interesting details about it to get other students to read it. They then added pictures to imovie and recorded their voice. From their they uploaded their imovie to Google drive to get an URL. The URL was loaded onto the qrcodemonkey website to create a qr code. This code is hanging in the library so students can scan the code and determine if the book is something they would like to read. Whew!!! That's a lot of technology. Good work 4th Graders. Fourth graders had to present what they learned in the "Power of Words" lesson through the ChatterKid app. Kindergarteners at Jefferson were turned into Super Heroes who had special reading powers.
