Students in 4th and 5th grade from Washington Elementary have been coding after school on Monday nights and Fridays during lunch since October. We are doing the Wonder League Robotics Competition which concludes December 15th. Thanks to a grant from the Merrill Area CommunityFoundation we were able to purchase the Dash and Dots necessary to complete this challenge and even design club t-shirts. Here is a link to the video about our Missions and accomplishments!!
This week we celebrated 1 hour of code in every classroom at Jefferson and Washington Elementary Schools. Kindergarteners did Kodable, while 1st graders did Scratch, Jr., and 2nd-5th Graders did code.org. Here are some snapshots from our week!
